Lahore, known for its rich cultural heritage and beautiful gardens, is set to introduce a unique dining experience with its first-ever floating boat restaurant on the Lahore Canal, near Harbanspura.
The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) will oversee the project, allocating a budget of Rs350 million. The initiative aims to transform the canal area into a vibrant recreational space, featuring:
– Sitting areas
– Cafes
– Children’s play zones
Three companies – Babar & Co, HRD Construction, and Riyaz Enterprises – have been pre-qualified to execute the project. In addition to the floating restaurant, the PHA plans to revamp the existing picnic spot, enhancing its appeal to visitors.
