Red Zone Under Siege: Thieves Defy Police, Strip Quetta of Solar Lights

Quetta (Daily Pakistan Online) A video circulating online shows thieves dismantling solar street lights near the Quetta Red Zone, raising concerns about police effectiveness. The incident occurred near the Officers Club, just yards from a Red Zone police post. This brazen act of theft is just one example of the rising crime wave in Quetta. Residents report a surge in theft and robbery, including incidents of gas meter and iron fence removal. The lack of arrests in these cases has fueled a growing sense of insecurity among the city’s population.
