Punjab Seed Corporation Aims to Revolutionize Agriculture with High-Yielding, Disease-Resistant Seeds

Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online) The Punjab Seed Corporation is gearing up to play a pivotal role in revolutionizing agriculture in Pakistan, particularly in the province of Punjab. According to Managing Director Ali Arshad Rana, the corporation is committed to producing high-yielding seeds that are resistant to various diseases, in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for modern agriculture.

To achieve this goal, Rana emphasized the importance of research and joint ventures, stating that the corporation will benefit from the best guidance available globally. He also underscored the corporation’s reputation for seed quality and the need to further improve it through self-accountability.

In addition to enhancing seed quality, the Punjab Seed Corporation has taken steps to improve its departmental affairs, which are expected to yield positive results soon. The corporation’s efforts are aimed at achieving higher yields of different crops, which will contribute significantly to the growth of Pakistan’s agriculture sector.
