PTI Leaders Face Arrest Warrants in Jinnah House Attack Case Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore has issued arrest warrants for 11 individuals, including prominent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Alia Hamza Malik and Tayyaba Raja, in connection with the Jinnah House attack case. The court, presided over by Judge Manzar Ali Gul, ordered the immediate arrest and production of the accused on December 19. Simultaneously, the court has initiated action against the surety of PTI leader Alia Hamza in the Shadman Police Station Jalao Gherao case. Summons notices have been issued to her surety for December 20, warning that failure to appear could result in their arrest. The court’s decision stems from Alia Hamza’s appearance in court after securing bail, prompting the court to order the production of her surety. This development follows the November 30 conviction of former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan in the Jinnah House attack case. The court dismissed Khan’s claim of being under arrest during the riots, deeming his argument unsubstantiated. The court’s judgment cited prosecution evidence, including undercover police personnel who overheard a conspiracy orchestrated by Khan. The prosecution alleged that Khan planned to disrupt state machinery in the event of his arrest, prompting other PTI leaders to instigate unrest.
