Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online) PTI leader Zartaj Gul has vehemently denied the latest allegations against her, stating that a case has been registered against her in Punjab for allegedly stealing blankets, slippers, and a motorcycle. Speaking to the media outside the courtroom, Gul expressed her outrage, saying that the federal government has no shame in pursuing such frivolous charges against her.
Gul pointed out the hypocrisy of the government, highlighting the numerous cases of assault on women at police stations and the brandishing of weapons. She also drew attention to the arrest of PTI leaders, including the party’s founder, and the alleged suppression of their right to protest against the government’s actions.
The PTI leader also accused the government of using propaganda to discredit her party and its ideology. She alleged that the government has used violence to silence its opponents, including firing shots and making people disappear. Gul emphasized that the ideology of PTI’s founder cannot be defeated by such tactics, and that the party will continue to fight for its rights despite the government’s best efforts to suppress them.
Gul also took aim at the Chief Minister of Punjab, describing him as “uneducated” and accusing him of attempting to stop PTI supporters from gathering in the province. She questioned how many people would have attended the gathering if the Chief Minister had not blocked the roads to Punjab.
