Mussarat Jamshed Cheema, a senior leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has come out in strong support of the party’s founder, Imran Khan. She stated that Khan is making immense sacrifices for the country and its people, and that his commitment to the nation’s future is unwavering.
She noted that if Khan’s intentions were self-serving, he would have taken steps to secure his own freedom, but instead, he has chosen to endure the hardships of imprisonment for the greater good.
According to Mussarat, the opposition is fearful of Khan’s influence and is attempting to keep him behind bars on false charges. This, she claimed, is a desperate attempt to maintain their grip on power by creating an atmosphere of fear and panic in the country.
