Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online) In a significant development, senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Musarrat Jamshed Cheema met with party chairman Imran Khan after a nearly 18-month hiatus.
According to her, the meeting was a poignant moment, during which Khan inquired about her health and recovery from illness.
She revealed that Khan also expressed concern about her recent arrest and the treatment she received. The PTI leader described the meeting as lengthy, during which Khan delivered a message to party workers and the public, urging them not to worry and assuring them that the current era of oppression will soon come to an end.
Musarrat Cheema’s meeting with Khan comes at a time when the PTI is facing numerous challenges, including the registration of bogus cases against party leaders and workers. Despite these difficulties, she expressed that meeting Khan after such a long time made all her troubles and fatigue seem meaningless.
