Rahim Yar Khan (Daily Pakistan Online) Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), has issued a stern warning to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), urging the party to reassess its approach and consider the consequences of its actions.
Speaking at a press conference in Rahim Yar Khan, Rehman emphasized the importance of peaceful and organized protests, citing JUI-F’s own experiences with large-scale demonstrations during PTI’s tenure.
He also highlighted the need for freedom of the press, noting that JUI-F has always advocated for this fundamental right. He cautioned journalists to exercise sensitivity in their reporting, given the current volatile climate. The JUI-F chief expressed his disapproval of the recent events at D-Chowk, stating that PTI’s strategy has been counterproductive and has only served to exacerbate tensions.
Rehman’s comments come amid growing concerns over the lack of effective governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. He stressed the need for opposition parties to unite and work towards common goals, emphasizing that this is crucial for addressing the pressing issues facing the country.
As the political landscape continues to evolve, Rehman’s words serve as a timely reminder of the need for responsible and informed leadership.
