No More Chemo? Punjab Leans on China’s “High-Tech” Cancer Cure

Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced plans to introduce cutting-edge cancer treatment technology in the province, bringing modern methods and machinery from China. This collaboration, solidified during Sharif’s official visit to China, will see the implementation of these advanced techniques at the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital.
The agreement was reached during a meeting with Dr. Lu Fu Liang, President of Hai Gia Medical Technologies, a company renowned for its expertise in modern cancer treatment.
Dr. Fuliang and his team presented a detailed briefing on interventional oncology and collaborative treatment methods, emphasizing the use of freezing and heating to treat tumors. The “Hai Gia” system has already successfully treated 10,000 cancer patients and is currently implemented in over 100 hospitals across 25 provinces in China. Chief Minister Sharif expressed optimism about the potential of this technology to provide modern cancer treatment and ensure complete recovery for patients.
The “high-tech” approach promises to alleviate the suffering associated with traditional chemotherapy and surgery, offering a new hope for cancer patients in Punjab.
