Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online) Lahore Police has intensified its efforts to create a peaceful and secure society, conducting a total of 5,745 search operations this year. During these operations, over 173,000 houses were searched, more than 95,000 tenants were checked, and over 458,000 people were screened. Following verification, over 455,000 individuals were cleared.
However, lawbreakers faced stern action, with 3,321 individuals facing legal consequences for violating the law. Notably, 792 wanted criminals were apprehended during these operations. Additionally, 553 cases of illegal weapons and 413 cases of drugs were registered.
The police also scrutinized various establishments, checking 443 hotels, 51 guest houses, and 122 hostels. According to Bilal Sadiq Kmianah, Lahore Police is dealing with lawbreakers firmly, demonstrating its commitment to maintaining law and order. These efforts underscore the police’s dedication to creating a secure environment for citizens.
