Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online) Punjab Police Inspector General Dr. Usman Anwar chaired a high-level meeting at the Central Police Office yesterday, where he directed all heads of regions, districts, and units to clear pending audit objections as soon as possible.
The meeting reviewed pending audit para objections from various regions and districts, with Regional Police Officers (RPOs), City Police Officers (CPOs), District Police Officers (DPOs), and District Duty Officers (DDOs) briefing the meeting on cleared audit objections.
Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized the importance of clearing audit objections within the timeline provided by the Home Department. He instructed DDOs and officers of Superintendent of Police (SP) rank to ensure their presence in meetings related to audit paras and verify working papers from the Director General Audit before submitting them to relevant committees. The Inspector General also directed DDOs to prioritize clearing audit objections from current assignments, along with addressing objections from previous periods.
The meeting was attended by senior officers, including Additional Inspector General (IG) Special Branch Zulfiqar Hameed, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana, Additional IGs, Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs), and other senior officers. Additional IG South Punjab, Managing Director Punjab Safe Cities Authority, RPOs, CPOs, DPOs, Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP), Elite, and all unit heads participated via video link.
