Islamabad Court Remands 145 PTI Workers in Police Custody

Islamabad (Daily Pakistan Online) An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad has granted a 5-day physical remand for 145 individuals arrested during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest at D Chowk. Judge Tahir Abbas Supra handed over the accused to the police, while extending the physical remand of 17 others by 4 days. Additionally, 8 PTI workers were sent to jail on judicial remand until December 10, pending an identification parade. A case has been registered against Tehreek-e-Insaaf workers at the Khanna police station. This development comes after the recent protests in Islamabad, which saw clashes between PTI supporters and security forces.
