Iran Vows Decisive Response to Israeli Aggression

TEHRAN (Daily Pakistan Online) Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned that a response to Israel’s recent aggression is inevitable and definitive, although the timing and method depend on suitable conditions. In an interview with Lebanon’s Al-Mayadeen channel, Araghchi stated that “Operation True Promise III will proceed as pledged” ¹.

Araghchi accused Israel of attempting to provoke Iran into a regional war, but emphasized that Iran has acted wisely to avoid falling into this trap. He also warned Israel against attacking Iran’s nuclear sites, emphasizing that the country would respond in kind to such a mistake ¹.

The Iranian Foreign Minister pointed to a growing consensus among regional nations to confront Israel’s actions, stressing that the ongoing war on Gaza and broader Israeli policies could destabilize the entire region ¹.

Araghchi’s statements come after Israel unleashed a bloody onslaught on Gaza on October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of over 44,000 Palestinians and injuring more than 104,000 others, according to the Gaza Health Ministry ¹.
