ISLAMABAD (Daily Pakistan Online) The trophy for the International Cricket Council (ICC) “Champions Trophy 2025” was unveiled at the Pakistan Monument, a tourist attraction in Islamabad.
According to details, former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar was supposed to attend the trophy unveiling ceremony, but he couldn’t make it. However, a large number of fans were present at the event and took selfies to capture the memorable moments.
According to the schedule released by the ICC, the Champions Trophy, which starts today, will conclude on January 27. During the tour, the trophy will visit various locations in Islamabad, as well as Taxila, Khanpur, Abbottabad, Murree, and Nathia Gali, before heading to Karachi.
On November 26, the trophy will leave for Afghanistan and then travel to Bangladesh, South Africa, New Zealand, England, and India before returning to Pakistan on January 27, 2025.
