Pakistan Cricket Team Focused on Australia Series, Champions Trophy
Lahore ( Daily Pakistan Online)- Pakistan vice-captain Salman Ali Agha has clarified that Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah were not dropped from the England series, but were given rest to refresh themselves after continuous cricket.
Speaking to media in Melbourne, Agha stated that the team’s full attention is currently on the Australia series, with the Champions Trophy still to come. He expressed confidence in the team’s determination and resolve, saying players are eager to perform well in Australian conditions.
Agha revealed that strategy has been devised considering Australia’s conditions and team, and players are working under coach Jason Gillispie to adapt. The playing eleven has not been finalized yet, but the team is preparing diligently.
